Dear AJ, thank you so much for reading my post Does Time heal? And for restacking it. I also grieve with you for your losses. I’m so thankful that we have hope in Jesus. Yes I have the book Imagine Heaven. I also like the book by Randy Alcorn titled Heaven. His book 50 days of Heaven devotional was given to me when our son passed away. It was a great blessing to me.God bless you in your ministry of writing.
Dear Sharon, as always I so appreciate you reading, liking, and commenting on my posts. I’m glad you were touched by it. May God bless you and on this holiday season and your family.
I am acquainted with loss—my mom, dad, sister, brother, and several others gone—so your words meet me in a deep place. Grief is grief. My heart weeps with your loss of your son.
This post is beautiful. I really appreciated how you teased out the idea of time. I agree: time doesn’t heal. But God does hold time in His hands.
Have you ever read Imagine Heaven? That book gave me a vivid sense of time and eternity—and made the distance between here and there feel thinner, almost breathable.
Oh Debbie. My heart breaks and tears are in my eyes as I read this. Time - that expanse between saying good bye and seeing them again. And our time is in God's hands. Thanksfully we have a hope that we will see Johann again - and all are loved ones that are dancing with Jesus and having such an incredible time. I too sometimes think, Jesus, why don't you just take me so I can join you? But like you said, it's not my time and all my days are in HIS hands. Love you Debbie.
Wow. Debbie, you brought understanding and hope and placed it gently, lovingly into hearts.
Thank you so much Derrell! Blessings
